Filippo Dibari
Author Biography:
Filippo Dibari is a nutritionist working with severe malnutrition in countries affected by famines, AIDS, wars or poverty. In 1992 he discovered meditation in Burundi, where he faced the irreconcilable contradictions of being a young European student in such a context. Since 1997 until 2009, he practiced Zen meditation (Soto school) in the challenging contexts where he worked (Amazon jungle, Africa and Asia), but mostly without a Sangha. Since 2009, he joined the Sangha of Roland Yuno Rech and received the Bodhisattva ordination. He aims to start a Zen dojo in Nairobi, Kenya, where he lives. Anybody living or visiting Kenya is welcome to practice together.
