Roger Walsh is professor of psychiatry, philosophy, and anthropology, as well as adjunct professor of religious studies at the University of California at Irvine. He is a seminal figure in the discipline of Transpersonal Psychology, and for decades he has been a trailblazer in establishing the legitimacy of Eastern spiritual practices for the Western academy.
